Wake Back to Bed is when you get up after four and a half or six hours of sleep, then be up from anywhere from five minutes to an hour and then go back to sleep. While awake, you need to get out of bed, turn on the lights and do lucid dreaming related stuff, like reading.

Be up only until you're able to think clearly, AND are still sleepy enough to fall back to sheep without any problems. Wake Back to Bed is used with almost every technique. Most methods don't require you be up for an hour, but just require that you at least wake up and go back to sleep doing the other method.
