What it's normally used for
Fish Oil is used in the treatment of a lot of health problems, like diabetes, cancer, heart disease, inflammatory bowel disease, nxiety, depression, ADHD, high cholesterol, arthritis, autoimmune disease, alzheimer's disease, eczema, weakened immunity, blood pressure, and macular degeneration.
It's been proven that Fish Oil helps the body with weight loss, healthy skin, healthy pregnancy, fertility, and increased energy.
Most of the health benefits of fish oil are because of omega-3 fatty acids like Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA).
What it does for Lucid Dreaming
A lot of people who start on a 900 mg dosage of Omega 3 fats get far more intense dreams, which can range in content from everything from re-living a happy childhood memorie, to violent and disturbing dreams.
When your dream content is more vivid and intense, you're way more likely to remember it when you wake up, so Fish Oil also helps to improve your dream recall. (Or, if you have a nightmare, you wake up with a shock from the intensity, and the dream experience is still fresh on your mind.)
My own results
I take three Fish Oils before bed and I'm more awake while I'm doing WBTB, from the extra serotonin. You can adjust that based on how awake and alert you are when you start WBTB and when you get up for good. You don't want to be so awake that you can't go back to sleep.
NOTE: The brand you use makes a *HUGE* difference. Do NOT get Kirkland. It's totally useless at making you more awake and alert. Get Nature's Bounty or Naturalist.
